A native Charlottean, Stephanie has over 21 years of fitness experience. Stephanie started her journey in the fitness industry in college, when she began to take step classes with a group of friends to stay in shape. It only took a short time before Stephanie was hooked and she obtained her Group Exercise Certification and began teaching her own step classes at the YMCA. Stephanie rose through the ranks of the Charlotte YMCA system, eventually becoming the Group Exercise Director at the Siskey Family YMCA in Matthews. After building the Group Exercise Program from a handful of classes in one room into a juggernaut of the Charlotte exercise scene, Stephanie obtained her personal training certification and refocused her career on training individuals and small groups, while still teaching packed Group Exercise Classes. Stephanie left the YMCA in September 2015 and pursued her long-time dream of creating a fitness studio where she could offer challenging and creative training opportunities in both the individual and smaller group settings.
Stephanie earned her B.A. from North Carolina State University (Go Wolfpack!). Stephanie holds Personal Training and Group Exercise Certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and a Group Exercise Certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Additionally, Stephanie is a National Presenter for both ACE and AFAA. Stephanie teaches a variety of classes, including Step, Athletic Conditioning, Strength, Cardio, TRX, and Insanity. When she has free time, Stephanie loves to interior design, watch the Panthers with her family and read!
